Folder Poetry

Year2018–

Folder Poetry repurposes the common practice of computer folder organization as a poetic form. By naming and nesting folders and files, unfolding narratives, rhythmic prose, and choose-your-own-adventure structures emerge through the logic of the file system itself. The project treats interface and file architecture as expressive materials rather than purely functional tools, and invites people to encounter the computer as a space for authorship, metaphor, and play.
